This training explores the fundamental principles of ethical behaviour in banking and their importance in today's financial environment.

Trust is the cornerstone of the banking industry, making ethical behaviour an essential component of professional practice. In a sector shaped by evolving regulations, increasing transparency and growing stakeholder expectations, acting with integrity is key to maintaining client confidence and upholding the reputation of financial institutions.

Objectives

The aim of this course is to explain and define the professional obligations and rules of conduct that must be observed by all employees of banks and PSFs (FSP).

Target audience

This training is designed for professionals working in banks and Professionals of the Financial Sector (PFS) wishing to understand the ethical principles, professional obligations and rules of conduct governing the financial sector.

It is particularly suited to employees working in Front Office, Middle Office, Back Office, Operations, Compliance, Risk Management, Internal Audit, Legal and Support Functions, as well as new joiners seeking a solid understanding of ethical behaviour and regulatory expectations in the Luxembourg financial sector.

Exam

For this training course, an optional exam is available. In case of interest, candidates can choose a date from the list of proposed examination sessions. Registration for the exam must be made at least five days before the chosen exam date. The exam is subject to a registration fee.
