Description

Digital Transformation is part of our International MBA and can be taken independently. 

This course is designed to provide participants with a deep understanding of trending digital technologies and how they can be integrated into existing businesses to improve internal processes and enhance customer touchpoints.

Through interactive discussions of both pre-digital-era and digital-native company cases, participants will explore how managers must rethink assumptions and decisions to seize opportunities in increasingly digital-driven environments. Teams will apply analysis and management tools to develop scenarios for the digital transformation of a case study and present their recommendations in an executive-style presentation.

Objectives

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Understand the basics of Artificial Intelligence and Blockchain technologies and their applications in real business scenarios,

  • Rapidly assess a business organization’s coherence and digital innovation potential,

  • Apply tools to develop innovation and new business ideas that integrate digital technologies into existing organizations,

  • Analyze and develop actionable strategies for digital transformation within a team setting,

  • Communicate digital transformation recommendations effectively through executive presentations.

  • Emerging Technologies Overview: Introduction to AI and Blockchain technologies, their functionalities, and accessible tools for non-specialists.

  • Digital Transformation Impacts: Analysis of effects on customers, competition, data, innovation, and value creation.

  • Case Studies: Examination of real-world pre-digital-era companies and digital-native organizations to understand strategic challenges and opportunities.

  • Scenario Development: Team-based exercises to create and assess digital transformation strategies for assigned case studies.

  • Applied Presentation: Executive-style presentations of team analyses and recommendations, integrating learned frameworks and management tools.
