Companies' skills needs are evolving

House of Training is renewing more than 20% of its training portfolio in 2027

Luxembourg, 16 October 2026 – During its annual event held on 15 October at GIOLABS – GRIDX, House of Training brought together nearly 120 clients, partners and employees to present the key developments of its 2027 training portfolio and look back on the achievements of the past year.

Artificial intelligence, cyber resilience, sustainable transition, regulatory developments and new management practices: these transformations are already reshaping businesses and redefining the skills they require. To help organisations meet these challenges, House of Training is renewing more than 20% of its training portfolio in 2027, introducing 342 new courses.

Through an immersive experience, guests were immersed in the heart of these transformations and invited to reflect on the skills needed to navigate and support them.

Under the theme “Cultivating Impact”, the evening also highlighted a core conviction: training creates real value when the skills acquired are translated into new ways of working and tangible results for organisations.

342 new courses designed to help organisations adapt to changing skills demands.

Understanding evolving skills needs is one of House of Training’s core missions.

To identify emerging priorities, House of Training relies on a network of more than 60 sector partners and 800 expert trainers, as well as advisory committees and surveys conducted among businesses.

In 2025, House of Training recorded more than 36,000 enrolments and supported nearly 3,900 companies in developing the skills of their leaders and employees.

The 2027 catalogue features more than 1,650 courses across 22 subject areas, alongside 217 certification pathways and an academic portfolio comprising 20 programmes.

“The world is changing, businesses are evolving, and with them, skills requirements are shifting. Our role is to understand these changes so that we can provide training solutions that meet organisations’ needs.” said Muriel Morbé, CEO of House of Training.

Artificial intelligence, cyber resilience and human skills: strengthened priorities.

With 101 courses dedicated to artificial intelligence and 35 focused on cyber resilience, the 2027 catalogue addresses two of the most pressing challenges facing organisations today.

Artificial intelligence is addressed well beyond its technological dimension, with a focus on its practical applications across a wide range of functions, including finance, human resources and sales.

Cyber resilience remains another key focus area, while the portfolio continues to expand to address the challenges of the sustainable transition, as well as the specific needs of different sectors and professions.

These developments also require strong human and managerial skills to support change, adapt ways of working, and foster effective collaboration across organisations.

“No one can predict the exact impact that artificial intelligence will have on our professions, but everyone can prepare for it. By developing both technical and human skills, organisations can become more resilient in the face of change.” said Karin Scholtes, Chair of House of Training.

Making skills development more accessible and relevant for businesses

House of Training is also continuing to expand its e-learning, blended learning and customised training solutions, offering greater flexibility to both organisations and professionals.

Its academic portfolio is also expanding, with 20 programmes available in 2027, including six new additions. These programmes are designed to help executives, managers and subject-matter experts deepen their expertise and progress in their careers, while continuing to work professionally.
